Pricing: Please note that the prices established and posted under the shopping cart may be less than those in the retail store. The reason for this is that in order for the E-store to be successful, pricing must be established that is competitive with that of other on-line retailers. All prices quoted and charged will be those used in the retail store, unless the order is placed through the shopping cart.

Payment, Security, and Privacy: Falcon Lake Tackle accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express except on orders shipped to international destinations. Our secure online store is protected by SSL encryption, and all orders are removed from the server after processing. FLT will never compromise your credit card or personal information in any way, for we highly value the security and privacy of our customers. We never sell or rent our mailing lists to anyone. E-mail us to arrange payment for foreign merchandise shipments. Once a relationship is established, additional orders may be paid by credit card

Provided that you are dealing with an honest merchant with good security, shopping online is one of the safest ways to use your credit card. If you prefer to not use your credit card online, we are still at your service. Simply assemble your order in our online store, select Check as the payment option, and submit your order. You will immediately be e-mailed a copy of your order, then you may contact us via phone, fax, or mail a check with the order to complete payment.

E-Club: Our E-Club creates an account for you to store your shipping info, making checkout on future orders even faster and easier. After entering the store via the below link, click on E-Club at the top of the page to log in or create a new account. No financial data is stored in the E-Club database. Once we verify your E-Club info, FLT will also accept your personal check for payment.

Shipping Info: We primarily ship via United States Postal Service or with United Parcel Service. Federal Express is recommended for some purchases such as hazardous materials, and heavy items. Additional shipping charges apply for rods, heavy items, and hazardous materials (see below). We have calculated an average shipping cost of $9.95, due to postage increases by posy office May 2007,for most orders. Some orders run a little more, other a little less. This amount covers and includes Priority Mail shipping. Please advise if you want the package insured. Sorry, we are not responsible for items lost in shipping. As always, contact us with any questions you may have. We recommend you request us to have the shipment insured because once the package leaves here, we have no control over delivery.

Mexico Shipping: All shipping to Mexico is Federal Express at an estimated cost of $33.00 for packages under 2 lbs. Additional shipping charges apply for rods, heavy items, and hazardous materials (see below). This rate is subject to change based on Federal Express rate schedule and only the actual cost will be charged. Import fees are the buyers responsibility.

Shipping Rods: We have learned the hard way that shippers can be very hard on fishing rods. Not only can a rod be destroyed in transit, but also it can be damaged in a way that will show no problems until months or years down the road until it suddenly breaks, perhaps while fighting a trophy fish. This is certainly upsetting in the short run, and expensive in the long run.

Therefore, we ship all rods in a special tube to protect your investment. These containers provide protection far superior to the disappointingly fragile cardboard tube, and can be reused in the future for storage and travel.

We charge you only what it costs us to ship your rod. Here are typical rates for the Continental USA, which reflect fees to ship charged by UPS Ground. Additional fees apply for Air 1, 2 or 3 day shipments.


Heavy Items: For items that are unusually heavy, such as large plastics orders, trailer jacks etc., additional shipping charges apply. Hazardous materials such as fire extinguishers must be shipped UPS Ground.

Return Policy: Return of merchandise that is unacceptable for any reason should occur within 10 days. First, contact us for a Return Authorization Number, then send postage prepaid to FLT, accompanied by sales receipt. Credits will be issued for the full amount of purchase and shipping unless the return is due to a change in the customer's preference or other cause beyond our control. In those instances, refunds made will be for the value of any merchandise less shipping and handling costs. Defective items which carry a Manufacturer's Warranty should be sent directly to the closest service center listed on the product's warranty information. All reels are tested and orders checked for accuracy before shipping. We maintain an inventory of all items in our online store but occasionally, due to quantity purchases, we may need to reorder before an order can be filled. In those instances we will either hold the order until all the items are available or ship what we have and contact you when the additional stock arrives. We will contact you to determine your preference.

Fraudulent Orders: Even though we realize that most of our customers will be honest, hard-fishing, bass-lovin' people, we are aware that there are a few water turkeys out there who try to beat the system, and they make it hard on everyone. We will use every legal remedy available regardless of cost to identify, prosecute and incarcerate those individuals seeking to fraudulently obtain merchandise from FLT. All orders submitted to FLT are considered to be mail orders and as such are protected under federal rules and regulations of, and carry Federal Penalties pertaining to, the US Postal Service.
